Deco provides a full range of secondary operations to deliver zinc die castings and assemblies ready for use, including machining, finishing, assembly and testing. A variety of finishes are also available, chromating, polishing, electroplating, powder coating and many more processes.

Secondaries: Machining, Assembly, Powder Coating and other finishes

  • Machining:  
  • The Deco objective is simple: supply the customer a finished product, ready to use, with no further operations necessary.
  • CNC machining centers are utilized when extremely close tolerances or complex configurations are required.
  • Conventional machining is also utilized to provide extremely close tolerance and configurations. Many of those machining centers are mobile and can be move into position next to the die cast machines, maximizing efficiencies for lower cost.
  • Assembly:
Deco works closely with its customers incorporating precision engineered zinc castings into sub-assemblies.
Deco often fulfills the "Customer Objectives" by purchasing additional specific components required for the completion of the assembly.

  • Deco Products installed its first powder coating line in 1972. Today, Deco powder coats millions of castings annually utilizing state-of-the-art powder coating technology in a wide choice of colors to fit your requirements.

The equipment serves our customer's and our needs very well. For example, our mainframe computer provides uninterrupted surveillance on all manufacturing operations, providing daily status and manufacturing costs on all orders.
The HP servers provides storage of all CAD files and allows users to view prints and inspection instructions from work stations in the plant. It is also used to back up and store information for the network PC's.

The data collection system links with the EMS manufacturing package, summarizing production data on demand.
